I will take each and every opportunity I'm given to visit Woodstock, Vermont, and specifically The Woodstock Inn & Resort. No matter the time of year, Woodstock is gorgeous. Seriously, I dare you to not think it's adorable and quaint on a rainy January day. Anyway. I feel like Stefan from SNL when I say [...]
I pictured my first trip to Greece to be an idyllic island getaway for as long as I can remember. I mean, who would expect their first trip to the Cyclades to be anything less, you know? Anyway. As a clinical over-planner, I had big dreams and really needed this trip to deliver. Luckily, I was able to stay at two stunning hotels on either coast of Santorini and they both really set the mood for the trip. The first hotel – the Istoria.
The Istoria is a brand new hotel from Design Hotels. The gorgeous property, a former stable, maintains the equestrian history while mixing in the Greek vibes of the surrounding area. Located in the Perivolos Beach area, the hotel is the perfect respite from the busy Thira and Oia on the other side of the island.
The Eliot Hotel in Boston’s Back Bay was home to my recent staycation. There’s something so great about staying in new surroundings in your hometown. For me, it reignites the mystery and adventure and it makes me want to re-explore familiar neighborhoods.
For a foodie like me, The Eliot is one of the best hotel choices in the city. With UNI next door, and countless restaurants, cafes, and bistros steps from the hotel, The Eliot will help you eat your way through the city.
