A couple weekends ago, I joined some of my blogger buddies for a getaway to Vermont. We took advantage of Skedaddle, an on-demand travel app that made it easy to schedule our own professional driven bus ride from Boston.
Our driver picked us up at a central location in Boston, then we sat back and relaxed while he took care of the two and a half hour drive to Vermont.
Excited for our weekend itinerary, we arrived at the Hermitage Club ready to tackle the slopes. The bus driver dropped us off right in front of the Hermitage Club and helped us unload all of our gear. We head inside to change and grab our skis. After some skiing and snowmobiling, we grabbed lunch in their cafe, enjoyed an afternoon of more skiing and then head over to their inn for happy hour.

After dinner, our bus driver took us back to our hotel, The Vermont House Inn, part of the Hermitage Club properties. The room was so cozy – perfect after a long day outside. After a great night sleep and then two cups of coffee in the morning, our Skedaddle bus driver picked us up and we made our way over to Mount Snow.

Sunday was full of winter activities at Mount Snow. Some of us went tubing, some hit the slopes, while a few decided to stay in the lodge and enjoying a couple mountain-side waffles. Yum.
Later in the afternoon, our bus driver picked us back up and we start to make the trek home. Exhausted from a fun weekend on the slopes, we’re all so happy to not have to drive. (I don’t know about them, but I definitely snoozed for a bit.)
Thanks to Skedaddle our group was able to easily make the trek to Vermont and not have to worry about travel logistics. I know I’ll be using Skedaddle to plan a weekend getaway with my friends very soon. I may even jump on a trip solo (because P.S. you can join a trip that’s already being planned, which is awesome).
