We’re trying something new here. I collect things from week to week and share them with friends and family, so I figured it would be nice to share them here as well. These things can range from articles, books, clothes… really anything that strikes my fancy.
This week I’ve been in total summer mode. It’s probably the weather – which was effing hot – but I’m V into all things with a light and airy vibe.
This week's top five.
1.
This playlist is on repeat. First, who doesn’t love a Nancy Meyers kitchen? Second, every song on this playlist has its own unique energy. Such a great mix and perfect for a good kitchen hang.
2.
Summer isn’t the only heating up on Nantucket. Article 90, a proposal that sought to cut the number and duration of vacation rentals allowed on the Massachusetts island, just went to vote. This WSJ article gives a pretty decent overview of the state of renters vs homeowner on this tiny island.
3.
I don’t think of myself as a sweets person, but I love a good chocolate chip cookie. This recipe from the NYT is my current fave. Maybe because the cookie is a vehicle for flaky salt, but either way, YUM. (Also, you can totally substitute the cake and bread flour for regular flour. Just saying.)
4.
I absolutely freaking adore this hat by Jenni Kayne. It’s so versatile and I love that it is somewhat flexible (re: not packable per se, but super easy to travel with). In fact, I’m currently wearing it as I type. I can’t take it off.
5.
I just re-ordered all of my Indie Lee skincare faves and I just need to shout it from the rooftops – I love her whole line. It’s clean and effective. I know that my skin is in good hands with Indie. If you haven’t heard her story, please google it. It’s inspiring. (Let me know if you want 15% off your first order!)
