My Paris apartment stay

Deciding on a trip to Paris is easy. Deciding on where to stay and where to eat is a whole other story. Since I’ve always longed to live in Paris, I usually stay in an apartment. During my last trip to Paris, I stayed in a charming flat in Montmartre. There’s nothing quite like waking up, making coffee, leisurely sipping it on a sofa that overlooks the Parisian rooftops, and then heading out to stroll the winding roads around Sacre Coeur. Absolutely nothing like it. So this time I knew I wanted another Paris apartment stay.

When deciding on the rental company for my flat, I immediately went to Haven In. I had an amazing experience with them in Montmartre, so choosing them again for this trip was a not a question.

This trip I wanted a similar experience but in different arrondissement. Montmartre is beautiful but I wanted a home base that was a little more central. I also wanted to explore a new neighborhood.

I decided on the Palais Royal area for this trip. A short walk to the Tuileries and to the Marais – perfect.

Our flat was incredible. Two bedrooms, a rooftop patio, and a view that you can’t believe. (Fun fact: the hike up to the fifth floor every time really helped burn off all that food and wine I was consuming.)

While it was, unfortunately, rainy and overcast throughout the duration of my trip, I was happy to take refuge in my little apartment during the downpours. When it wasn’t raining, I was walking everywhere – to Cafe Kitsune for coffee, Dépôt Légal for lunch and Le Grand Colbert for dinner. If I felt up for a quick trip to the Louvre, it was basically down the street.

If you’re planning a trip to Paris, Provence, London, or most major cities, definitely check out Haven In for apartment rentals. They also offer luxe amenities like chauffers, food and wine classes, concierge and travel planning. I’ve used these services in the past and I can attest to the quality. I’m currently planning a trip to Provence and I can’t wait to rent a home from Haven In for my stay.
