Walking up to the entrance of No. 284 hotel in Boston, MA is like walking up to most brownstones in Boston. Except what lies beyond the buzzer of the front door is an exceptionally curated modern art collection.
Anywhere you set foot on the property there’s something to admire. The rich blue walls, ornate crystal chandeliers, stacks of art books.

The first round of dishes were smaller plates. Lots of crudo and crostinis. Perfect to share with a group of friends at brunch or even if you’re grabbing some drinks for happy hour.

After inhaling all of our small plates, we thought “let’s order more!” For our second course, we all ordered our own dish. Some ordered burgers, others pasta. Me? I ordered a killer egg sandwich. (Don’t worry, though, I had a few bites of the pasta.)

Sufficiently stuffed and full of great conversation, I rolled myself out the door.

THE DISPATCH
MY HIGHLIGHTS
The Warhol Suite
Located on the top floor of No. 284, the Warhol Suite is home to the most incredible skylight, a jaw-dropping patio, and an original Warhol of Marilyn Monroe.
The art collection
The expansive art collection scattered throughout No. 284 is a modern art lover’s dream. The collection includes heavy hitters Damien Hearst and Andy Warhol.
The library
My second favorite space in the hotel is the library on the first floor. Cozy and jam-packed full of books, it’s the perfect place to grab a coffee and settle in by the fireplace for the day.
