My 2019 gift guide for anyone

November 25, 2019

I love a gift guide. So when I was thinking about my next blog post, I wanted to put together something a little different than my typical hotel review and city guide. Of course, I’m still going to write about my travel experiences, but I needed to write something that would jump-start my creative process again. Enter this gift guide. (While we’re on the subject, yes, I know it’s been a while since my last post. I have had the most incredible writer’s block and I was overwhelmed by all the content I want to create. But I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things. Thanks for your patience!)

Anyway, back to the gift guide…

This isn’t a gift guide just for the beauty lover, photographer, traveler, or foodie. I am all of those things, so this gift guide is for anyone. I consider everything listed below one of my favorite things from 2019. So if you’re into beauty, cool, I got you. Want some photography or travel gadgets, keep reading. Need a new cookbook, scroll away.

I hope this little guide helps you with your holiday shopping, I introduces you to something new, or justs gives you a reason to do a little retail therapy. (As if you needed a reason…)

My gift guide

Nothing Fancy

I’m so obsessed with Alison Roman. She takes the pressure off group entertaining and shows readers how to create unfussy but unforgettable dishes with Nothing Fancy: The Art of Having People Over.

Jabra Gold Beige Noise Cancelling Headphones

I genuinely love these headphones! Incredible sound, cuts out all plane noise, and the gold beige color is so unique. I can’t recommend these headphones enough.

GripTight PRO 2 GorillaPod

This Joby phone tripod has been a great addition to my photography gear. I’ve been making a lot of cinemagraphs and it’s flexible legs has allowed me to take videos in any location. I’ve even used it to take a great overhead flatlay shot. I highly recommend!

Candlefish No. 61

I love to travel with candles! Candlefish’s small candles (2.5 oz) come in tins so they’re perfect to throw in your suitcase. No. 61 is my personal favorite scent (dewberry, vanilla and sandalwood), but team Candlefish is pretty helpful when it comes to choosing your scent. (I also buy their large candles for my apartment.) Now it will smell like home no matter where you are!

ACURE Seriously Soothing Cleansing Cream

This facewash is phenomenal. It’s vegan, has a great EWG rating, and is perfect for anyone who gets dry skin when the weather gets a bit colder. Plus, it’s so inexpensive. Quality AND price – buy this immediately!

Away Minis

I love these Away minis! In fact, I’m so in love that I dropped everything when I was in Greece to buy one when they were re-released in May. They are so cute, and the perfect size for toiletries, makeup – anything. Throw it in your regular size Away and away you go!

The Fixer

This cbd salve by Beam is a game-changer. I use it on any aches or pains and they literally disappear. If you’re weary of cbd, definitely do your research but all of Beam’s products are made with natural ingredients and organic CBD oil. (I can personally vouch for the salve and the tincture.)

Grippy Tannins gift card

Grippy Tannins is a great little wine shop and tasting lounge in Portland, Maine. And a gift card there is a great way to introduce a friend or a loved one to a new region of wine, wine producer – or to wine in general.

This post contains affliate links and gifted products, but all text and opinions are my own.
