The Eliot Hotel in Boston’s Back Bay was home to my recent staycation. There’s something so great about staying in new surroundings in your hometown. For me, it reignites the mystery and adventure and it makes me want to re-explore familiar neighborhoods.
For a foodie like me, The Eliot is one of the best hotel choices in the city. With UNI next door, and countless restaurants, cafes, and bistros steps from the hotel, The Eliot will help you eat your way through the city.

As you can see the lobby is GORGE. You’re immediately transported into a luxe experience as soon as you step through the door.
After a quick check-in process, I head to my suite on the 8th floor. Each room at the Eliot is a suite, so don’t think that was a humblebrag.

I immediately check out the bathroom. It’s always the first thing I do. I need to know what the shower/tub/robe situation looks like.
In this case, it’s a shower situation.

I was grabbing dinner with friends so I resist getting cozy in the robe. I know we’ll get acquainted in the morning.
The next morning is a lounge in the room and get room service kind of day. I might have had all the wine in the city the night before so this is JUST what I needed.

After a leisurely morning of watching the Food Network, I pack up and head home. (PS – those scrambled eggs were, hands down, the best room service scrambled eggs I’ve ever had.) Thank you to the staff who was so friendly and helpful throughout my stay! This staycation was one for the books.

A million thank yous to The Eliot Hotel in Boston, MA for generously hosting me! If you’re interested in staying at The Eliot, visit their website at www.eliothotel.com. All opinions and images are my own.
