While I was in Miami this past April, I made it a point to visit the 1 Hotel Miami Beach. I’m kinda obsessed with the 1 Hotel brand, and funnily enough, I had never visited any of their properties. So rude of me.
Every morning I camped out in their lobby swooning over the decor, smell, playlist, and general cool vibe the hotel exudes.

The hotel has a few different dining options, but the two standouts for me were Wave at 1 Beach Club and Watr on the Rooftop. (I mean, I ate breakfast at Neighbors in the lobby like every day, but it’s not like a dining destination, ya know?)
Watr on the Rooftop has major Santorini vibes. Enjoy award-winning sushi with a view of Miami Beach while relaxing on white couches. I had a boozy lunch here, but this would be an amazing date locale.
For me, though, the ultimate lunch or happy hour situation is at Wave at 1 Beach Club. This outdoor restaurant takes me right back to Tulum. With its sand, boardwalks, and daybeds, Wave has an incredible menu of seafood-forward dishes plus an excellent selection of cocktails and wine.
The moral of the 1 Hotel story is to go here immediately and fall in love with the whole vibe they put out into the universe.
