A city guide to Quebec City
I recently visited Quebec City for a few days at the end of December. It was my first time there, and after all my research, I knew I wanted to primarily explore the Old City for its quaint charm. Here are my favorite spots from my trip.

Where to stay: Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec City
I planned a rather last minute solo trip to Quebec City at the end of 2018. I was really obsessed with going to Quebec City in the winter and had the motivation for one last trip before the new year. I had this picture in my head: snowy cobblestone streets, eating French Onion soup in a cozy bistro, curling up in a castle for a few days to relax before returning to work. I needed all of that, and the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac was just the place for me to stay during my little getaway to Quebec City.

Vin Papillion in Montréal

Montréal in 24 hours
My Montréal trips was a bit of a surprise. My dad, sister and I were going to our family party just outside of Ottawa, and my sister and I decided to make a bit of a vaca out of it. Dad was driving from Buffalo, so it was a girls party in Montréal!I knew right away what I needed to do while I was in Montréal, eat at one of Frédéric Morin's and David McMillan's restaurants. I had my eye on Joe Beef, but when I was doing my research I found out they had opened a wine bar, Vin Papillion, and done. Talk about traveling for food.Anyway, back to the trip...
