Hello, my wonderful community! It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it? I’ve been on a hiatus, a journey of self-discovery that I can’t wait to share. It’s been a couple of years of new beginnings, filled with reflections and marked by a significant shift in my blogging journey.
In the whirlwind of life, we sometimes find ourselves caught up in the rush, barely keeping our heads above water. That’s where I found myself. The joy of blogging had become elusive, lost in the maze of overthinking and an insurmountable workload. My once creative haven was drowned in the echoes of demanding jobs, anxiety, and an overwhelming lack of time. I felt it was time to step back, reevaluate, and reinvest in myself.
So, I took a step back from blogging to breathe and live. And oh, how life unfolded! I switched jobs (three times), moved to the beautiful city of Gloucester, MA (don’t worry, I still have my place in Boston), and – drumroll, please – got engaged!
These life-changing events and the ensuing personal growth nudged me towards an evolution of the blog. I’m ready to embrace this thrilling, albeit slightly terrifying, new phase in life and carry you along on this journey. After all, stumbling forward is still moving forward, and I’m excited about the person I’m becoming.
In this new chapter, I’ll be weaving more aspects of my life into the blog, expanding it into a lifestyle theme. Fear not, my love for food and travel is still there. They will stay as significant elements but are now framed within a more holistic view of my life. Expect to see more of my other passions – fashion, interiors, gardening, and a lot of wellness content – as I strive to be more aware of my stress levels.
Ultimately, I hope to strike a balance between my interests and your needs. Your feedback, as always, will be invaluable in shaping this space.
