A must stay: 76 Main Nantucket

It had been quite some time since my girlfriends and I planned a weekend getaway. Lark Hotels is my one of my favorite hotel groups, so when we decided on Nantucket for our trip, I knew I needed to stay at one of their properties. And 76 Main would be perfect for us.

Recently named the top hotel in New England by Conde Nast Traveler, 76 Main offers 20 rooms and suites, all day coffee and an incredible location. Right off on Main Street, the traditional New England Colonial-style house with black shutters is a quick walk to downtown. Though, once you check-in, you may not want to leave.

After we checked in, we headed to the back of the house through the courtyard and settled into our suite.

The room had a king size bed and a cute little sitting area where the couch turns into a comfy queen sleeper. It fit the three of us perfectly.

One of my favorite features of 76 Main is the courtyard in the back. Specifically, the firepit in the courtyard in the back. I highly recommend opening a bottle of wine, grabbing a blanket and curling up on the couches for a nice night in.

In the morning, the Lark team bakes a great little breakfast. Perfect for the morning after drinking bottle of wine by the fire. From sweet to savory to all the caffeine, you’ll be ready for the day after stopping in the cafe.

It’s rare that I give myself the opportunity to relax with some girlfriends, and 76 Main let me slow down and just “be” with some of my besties. If you’re heading to Nantucket for a weekend getaway, a wedding or to just cross it off of your bucket list, check out 76 Main. You won’t regret it.
