Brunch at Island Creek Oyster Bar has everything – homemade breads and pastries, burgers, and lobster rolls. And coffee, and waffles, and fried oyster sliders. Located in Kenmore Square, and born from their Duxbury oyster farm, Island Creek Oyster bar is not only an iconic Boston brand, but also a seriously amazing place for brunch.
I recently had the opportunity to stop by ICOB to try all of their brunch dishes – and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

Since I knew this was going to be an epic brunch, I wore some stretchy pants. And I think you should too just to read this post.
Brunch started with some true breakfast foods – coffee, pastries, waffles, and egg sammies. Plus, a fried oyster slider. Because obviously.

After devouring the first round, we thought “we should probably try more,” and since we’re at an oyster bar, oysters felt right. A dozen Island Creeks for the table as we decide what to order for the next round. We ended up ordering a few lunch dishes. Burgers, fries, lobster rolls.

After a lengthy photo shoot, I inhale my lobster roll. The housemade brioche roll is the perfect complement to the buttery and fresh lobster.

All of this food has me ready for a Netflix marathon on my couch, but I’m pretty excited to have another go-to brunch spot in Boston.

THE DIGEST
MY PICKS
Crispy Oyster Slider
Perfectly fried and the brioche roll is outstanding. (It’s made by in the in-house bakery.)
Ethel’s Lobster Roll
I love lobster rolls and this one is no exception. The housemade roll is loaded with lobster meat.
Egg and Cheese Sandwich
I get that this isn’t exactly an original dish, but it’s absolutely delicious. I’m drooling thinking of the melty cheese on the English muffin.
Oysters
Because, duh.
