To celebrate one of the last weekend’s of summer, I decided to get away from Boston and head to the Cape for a girls getaway. Ocean Edge has been on my list for a while, and I was excited to stay with them to get a little R&R. From restaurants to the beach, Ocean Edge has everything on the property so I also knew that I wouldn’t have to leave the grounds for the whole weekend. And if I can avoid driving, I’m a happy girl.

Ocean Edge feels right out of the Gatsby era, but once you step into your guest room you’re transported to a stylish beach vibe.

Speaking of beach, I spent the majority of my time at Ocean Edge’s private beach and beach bar.

So as you can see, I spent the majority of my girls getaway at Ocean Edge living my best life. Can you blame me?

After lunch and happy hour, we head to the oyster farm. The beds are only a short walk off shore and totally worth the short trek. During low tide you can catch the farmers out there harvesting some of their bivalves. It’s a great opportunity to learn a little something about oysters.

After the beach and beach bar, I tried out a couple of the hotel’s numerous restaurants. First up, Ocean Terrace. This restaurant has a large terrace that overlooks the hotel’s property. It’s the perfect spot for some oysters and wine.

Then I head to Bayzo’s Pub. I cozied right up to the bar and hung out with the bartenders.

Before the end of the night, we met up with some friends who were also staying at the hotel for a little bonfire and smore action.

The next morning we pack up and head back to Boston. Before we leave Brewster, we grab some food from Karma Foods (I highly recommend) and Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters (I also highly recommend). We also swing by the General Store, because how could we not?

All in all, our girls getaway to Ocean Edge was a success. We ate some great food, relaxed by the beach, and enjoyed some quality girl time.
