5 things I learned on my first cruise with Royal Caribbean
When Royal Caribbean asked me to join them on the inaugural sailing of their new ship, Symphony of the Seas, I pretty much said yes right away. I had never been on a cruise before and I needed to see what this #cruiselife was all about. The experience was awesome, so as a first-timer, I wanted to share the top 5 things I learned on my first cruise.
My favorite meal in Trastevere
I've been to Rome a quite a few times, so when I found out she would be a stop on my Mediterranean cruise with Royal Caribbean, I knew I wanted to do something different. Enter Trastevere. I planned to spend my entire day exploring the charming working-class neighborhood. I bookmarked a few things I wanted to see, and a couple lunch options. Not to pat myself on the back but, I did a knock out job scouting locations because I had one of my favorite meals - ever - in Trastevere.
Quick Trip to Barcelona
I only had a quick trip to Barcelona before my Royal Caribbean Cruise. I flew into Barcelona the morning before the Symphony of the Seas departed and I wanted to make the most of my time in Barca without getting overwhelmed by everything there is to see, do and eat.
